WOOD YOU LIKE SOME TREES?
(Blog - 04-07-2018)
I have finally updated the 9 tree pages uploaded so far. It sounds so feeble when I type that. I have a basic list of 39 trees I want as a minimum, so just under a quarter done. It's an uphill challenge but I'm enjoying it and learning lots. I have images of Sweet Chestnut and Spruce waiting in the wings and I came across some Yew trees near my house last weekend. I didn't have my camera on me at the time but that's a nice excuse for a stroll in the near future. I'm going to concentrate on coniferous trees over the winter as the leaves/pines are a valuable way of identifying a tree. I will still be taking pictures of all trees while I'm out to get an idea of how they change throughout the year, hence me adding 'time of year' to all the photos.
Going forward, I am going to update the pages to have at least the minimum content on before I upload them to the site. I just wanted content on it initially so I was updating the pages with just the images.
I'm not sure what I will do with the plants and Fungi pages yet. It's a whole new ball park for each of them. I may temporarily leave them as they are as I am enjoying tree hunting for the time being.
I intend to look into bushcraft courses for next year and get them booked and I'm also eager to get working on my first videos. They may come early next year now as time is a limiting factor.
Please send me any suggestions and/or corrections.
Adios, bye bye.
