Overview
Garlic mustard grows in hedgerows or open woodlands. It has white flowers and distinct leaves. The young leaves can be harvested for use as salad leaves or as an ingridient with a slight garlic flavour.
Also known as Jack-by-the-hedge, or garlicwort.

Gallery and Identification
Flowers - Bright white. up to 6cm across. April-June. Stem - Hairless. Leaves - Toothed edges. Heart shaped. Fruit - Four sided elongated pod. up to 5cm long. Green at first but turns grey/brown. Height - up to around 1m. Distribution - Common in low lands across Europe.
