Yarrow grows all over the UK in grassy areas. It is an aromatic plant. Its leaves are feather like which is an easy way to identify it.
It has a history of being known as a way to stopping the flow of blood.

Flowers - Grow in florettes or groups of small white or yellow flowers. June - September. Stem - Hairs on the thicker lower stem. Leaves - Feather like, has a lot of thin offshoots. Dark Green. Height - up to 55cm. Fruit - Achenes. Distribution - All over the british isles. Grows in grassy areas
